Description

Oliver Maki is a contemporary Japanese-Mediterranean fusion restaurant concept founded by brothers Oliver and Amer Zeitoun. Inspired by Japanese culinary traditions and regional ingredients—like olive oil from their Lebanese family estate—the brand launched its first branch in Kuwait in 2004 and has since expanded across the Middle East, including a location in Bahrain, with additional branches in London’s Soho and beyond.

The cuisine is rooted in quality and innovation. Signature dishes include the iconic Oliver Maki Roll, an elaborate creation that combines eight different rolls into one artistic plate—boasting over 30 ingredients and topped with house-made sauces and garnish. The menu also highlights sushi and makimono selections with a Mediterranean twist, all presented with sleek, creative flair.

Oliver Maki venues tend to be intimate and design-forward. For example, the London Soho location accommodates around 55 diners across two levels and includes a cozy six-seat bar offering sake, wine, and cocktails—crafted to complement the culinary experience without overshadowing it.
