In a country known for its pearl-diving past, ancient souqs, and seafaring legacy, the <\/span>Bahrain Heritage Sports Committee<\/span><\/b> is working tirelessly to ensure that these traditions are more than just memories. Formed in <\/span>2018<\/span><\/b> by royal decree of <\/span>His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa<\/span><\/b>, the Committee is tasked with preserving, promoting, and evolving the Kingdom\u2019s vibrant folk heritage through sport.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

From camel races and falconry to pearl diving and traditional rowing, the Committee\u2019s calendar of events is both a celebration and a living education. \u201cHeritage sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain have made qualitative leaps thanks to the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, as His Majesty pays exceptional attention to these sports to bequeath them to future generations as part of a national plan aimed at preserving the Bahraini identity and national heritage.
