Glass Beams The Yussef Dayes Experience at Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre Desert Garden
Glass Beams began as Rajan Silva’s way of rekindling childhood memories of his father’s journey from India to Melbourne in the late ’70s. A key spark: watching Concert for George (Royal Albert Hall, 2002) with Ravi Shankar and daughter Anoushka alongside Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, and Jeff Lynne. That East/West, old/new cross-pollination fuels Glass Beams’ self-produced sound—live instrumentation threaded through DIY electronica, framed by a hypnotic visual world. With debut EP Mirage and breakout EP Mahal, the project caught fire across socials and streaming, pulling millions into its serpentine, psychedelic-tinged grooves. Now a trio onstage, Glass Beams sold out every date on their debut European and North American tours, adding extra shows and bigger rooms on demand.
