Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Community Medical Centre

The Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Community Medical Centre delivers high-quality post-acute health and social care for adults across Bahrain. As a referral facility for patients transferred from Salmaniya Medical Complex and other Ministry of Health hospitals, the Centre provides medical management, rehabilitation, and nursing to help patients regain function and independence after the acute phase of illness.

Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team. Eligible patients are 18+, medically stable, and admitted for a time-limited program of up to two months, with the goal of reducing care dependency and enabling a safe return home and reintegration into the community.

Located near Salmaniya Medical Complex, the Centre operates five wards with a capacity of 53 beds for male and female patients and serves all regions of the Kingdom. By focusing on transitional care and rehabilitation, the Centre helps reduce hospital readmissions and improve quality of life.

Mission: To provide comprehensive, high-quality medical, nursing, rehabilitation, and social care through a multidisciplinary team for patients who have completed the acute phase of treatment.
